Aces TV and Project Cuddle on National Television
Tuesday, 22 May 2007

3 years ago, Aces TV Founders Sandra and Sonia Alvarado reached out to a local charity, Project Cuddle , to propose producing a video promoting their wonderful cause.  A crisis hotline to prevent babies from being abandoned by helping young mothers-to-be, Project Cuddle and Founder/CEO Debbe Magnusen have saved over 570 babies since the organization's inception.

The video Aces TV produced for Project Cuddle featured such celebrities as John Stamos ( "E.R.", "Full House" ), Paula Abdul ( "American Idol" ), and Mary Stuart Masterson ( "Law & Order : SVU" ), and has been seen in High Schools across the country, changing thousands of lives in the process.  It was Debbe's selfless dedication to her cause that inspired Aces TV Co-Founder Sandra Alvarado to contact The Oprah Winfrey Show about telling Debbe's story.

On May 9th, 2007, Aces TV's efforts culminated in a feature story on The Oprah Winfrey Show, entitled "Cheers To You."  It was Oprah's way of celebrating extraordinary people, and included a huge celebration at Disneyland where birth mothers, adoptive parents and their children came together to celebrate Debbe and the impact she has made on all of their lives.  Footage from Aces TV's Project Cuddle video was used in the broadcast, Aces TV received credit at the end of Oprah's show, and Sandra Alvarado traveled to Chicago to participate in the the studio audience as a VIP guest.  John Stamos (now the official National Spokesperson for Project Cuddle) even appeared at the emotional Disneyland event, which Debbe herself called "the best day of my life."

Aces TV is proud of their ongoing relationship with Project Cuddle, which will certainly save hundreds more lives in the years to come.
